What are Tables?
Vision
Tables are focused on applying and activating the vision of NewSong church in smaller expressions throughout the DMV area.
Mission
Through the context of building intentional friendship & community belonging, which includes shared meals, shared stories, and shared interests, Tables are a place of inviting others to know more about God and place of demonstrating loving-kindness to others as we learn and grow into the likeness of Jesus.
common tables
COMMON TABLES are core community groups that focus on friendship and transformational connection. These meet with consistent regularity. These groups are organized by life season and/or zip code. Common Tables are our primary small group context. This year, we will focus on eating, playing, and praying together rather than the traditional focus on the Sermon Series or Takeout content. Groups will range from 6-8 people (this number excludes children), with two additional "slots" for people who want to join a Common Table throughout the year.
Seasonal tables
We value with-ness at NewSong; we demonstrate our with-ness towards one another when we walk alongside them. Sometimes this looks like meeting those in similar seasons - here are some Tables we have for those in similar seasons of life.
Mom’s Playgroup Table — this Table is for mothers with young children and meets weekly on Fridays. Text PLAY to 703-972-6688 to find out more.

We value being intentional. We want to be a part of the community we live in - we are currently reassessing the needs and how we can partner to meet them. Check back later for opportunities!
