PHASE 4 REOPENING

In-Person Service Guidelines

We’re so glad you’re considering attending our Sunday Service for this next phase of reopening. In Governor Northam’s latest news release, all social distancing and capacity limits are being lifted with the continued downward trend of cases. We feel it is appropriate in this phase to remove social distancing requirements and will continue without an RSVP system.

*removing the RSVP system also removes our ability to gauge whether we’ve reached maximum capacity for service. To ensure you have a spot, arrive on time!

however, we recognize everyone has varying comfort levels with these adjusted safety guidelines, Please practice mindfulness of those around you!

Please see below for how this applies to the structure of our service.

At this time, we’ve decided that with state covid-19 restrictions easing we’re putting our emphasis and efforts into hosting Mega-Tables well (see below!). Our intention behind the outdoor service was primarily to serve as an opportunity to attend while restrictions were in place. Now that they are lifting, we would like to invite you to attend indoors and if you are not comfortable doing so - we would love for you to join us for Mega-Tables outdoors directly following service, see below for more info!

For all those interested in attending the indoor service, please read below.

PLease read these guidelines, your attendance indicates your consent to adhere to guidelines stateD

Guidelines 1. Volunteers arrive at 9:40A (you'll be contacted on Friday evening if serving on the team) 2. Doors Open at 9:45A (service starts at 10:30A) 3. Masks: We recommend the use of a mask while in transit around the building (removed while seated for service), we also recognize the new recommendations stated by the CDC for those fully-vaccinated against covid-19. In light of current and changing guidelines, we trust that for service, you will make the best decision possible for yourself and those around you in our community.

4. SEATING IS SELF-DIRECTED, WE WILL HAVE A SEATING HOST AVAILABLE AS NEEDED, PLEASE ASK IF YOU NEED HELP!

  • As you are finding seats, feel free to seat yourselves as you feel comfortable (4 seats between households is the previously recommended 6ft social distancing)

  • If this is your first time attending our service, please find a designated volunteer in the lobby so we can connect and get your name & email for contact tracing purposes!

  • According to Virginia guidelines, it is recommended that parents use their best judgment for children ages 2-4 with regards to mask wearing when social distancing is not possible. We recommend they wear their masks while in transit but can be removed at their seat.

  • As you reach your seats, we ask you to remain there so that others can see what seats are available as they arrive

  • At this time, we are not using flags during worship

5. Upon dismissal, we ask everyone to make their way outside. Please do not lingering in the sanctuary, halls, or lobby, thank you!
